Following Vlasic and Fasuba, Kenyan stars to come in Zhukovsky

Some World Athletics stars have confirmed their participation in 50th Znamensky Memorial, a European Premium Outdoor Meeting, in Zhukovsky on 15 June. Famous Kenyan athletes Moses Mosop and Leonard Komon will run 5000m, Georgiy and Serafim Znamensky’s favorite event.
World champions to meet in Zhukovsky

The organizing committee of the 50th Znamensky Memorial has received first confirmations of participation in the meeting. This year’s World Indoor champions Blanka Vlasic from Croatia and Osoluji Fasuba from Nigeria come to Zhukovsky on 15 June.

The 50th edition of the Znamensky Memorial takes place in Zhukovsky, Moscow region, in 2 months, on 15 June. The timetable consists of 8 men’s events (100 m, 400 m, 800 m, 5000 m, Pole Vault, Triple Jump, Javelin Throw, 4 x 100 m Relay) and 9 women’s events (100 m, 200 m, 400 m, 800 m, 100 mH, 400 mH, High Jump, Long Jump, Javelin Throw).
